Whats the point of climbing the rope tho Isnt it to workout ur arms? Doesnt this method essentially weaken the need for arm strength

I’ve got to say, you guys look like Mr Stay Puffed the marshmallow man with that ridiculously large body armor on, on top of your FLC attached to it. Are you sure you guys can be combat effective, and move under fire with that crap on??? In my day, we were issued the LBV-88 vest, and at first, we weren’t sure if we could be combat effective, but after we got everything fit right and tight, we got things done. I could be a little judgmental about that armor, but at the end of the day it’s all about combat effectiveness.

The 2 elastic band per leg method work for those with thin ankles and legs. If i was to wear 2 bands tied together on the same leg, i would probably lose that leg due to no blood circulacion and probably cangrene. One band is creating disconfort after 8 hours or more, and in tactical field, i wear it over the top of the boot, one inch down from top, not on the leg.

Duct tape around your boots helps.

Mag securing straps are kinda ass, tuck those into the pouch, also don’t preset your iotv, but better pouches, best mag pouches are the ones with elastic mag holders, easier to mess with compared to the issued pouches and the taps.

One thing I'm wondering is why do you need a canteen pouch when you've got a Camelbak? Seems a bit redundant to me. Wouldn't that space be better used with something else?
